Description

History of the model

Leaving the factory on December 3, 1959, the Giulietta Sprint that we are presenting was delivered on February 10, 1960 in New York.

At the time, its exterior color was black.

The car returned to Europe in the early 2000s where it underwent a thorough restoration including a reconditioning of the original engine.

The gearbox was replaced by a five-speed version and disc brakes were fitted at the front (the drums were retained and will be delivered with the car).

Restored to new, the chassis and bodywork have received anti-rust treatment and new sky blue paint for the exterior, a color that blends perfectly with the sober lines of this elegant coupe.

The accessories and hubcaps are in excellent condition and the interior has been restored using original materials. All of this work was carried out without counting, the objective being to make this Giulietta Sprint one of the most beautiful possible.

Recently equipped with electronic ignition, the car handles perfectly well in modern traffic, and will bring its new owner many years of pleasure.

The Giulietta Sprint was not supposed to have such a long career. Unveiled in 1954 at the Turin Motor Show, this attractive coupe signed Bertone nevertheless met with immediate success. There is no shortage of arguments: 1300 twin-shaft engine, weight limited to 850 kg and power allowing it to exceed 160 km/h. Sporty and elegant, this brilliant car will leave its mark on the history of the brand.
