Following a health problem which partially handicaps him, he can only drive automatic vehicles with easy access. He then selected this Jaguar Type E 2+2 which offers an automatic gearbox as well as easier access on board thanks to longer doors and more spacious accommodation.

He invested €60,000 in this restoration and making the car more reliable; cannot afford to break down.

The invoice file which accompanies the Jaguar is very detailed and testifies to the seriousness of its restoration.

The body was stripped bare and the chassis underwent three treatment baths before being completely repainted in its sublime original light blue color.

 

Equipped with the legendary XK engine block in its 4.2L version, it offers remarkable driving pleasure. During this restoration it was the subject of a complete overhaul and its peripheral accessories as well.
